Description: This is a close-up shot of the two types of links. Note the difference in wall thickness of the rings to provide a better fit on the round each was designed for.

Magnetic links for .22LR

Description: These links have ferrous material infused in their nylon, making it possible to round them up with a strong magnet. They are designed for use with the .22LR round and it's smaller diameter, so crimping isn't needed. A close look into the diameters will show these links to have thicker walls than the original nylon links.

Description: The black nylon links were originally designed for use with .22 magnum and .17HMR rounds. They have thinner walls than the newer links so that they would fit around the larger diameter rounds. They have been used for .22LR by crimping the split rings tighter so that they would hold the smaller diameter rounds more securely. The newer links are preferable for .22LR use (especially the magnetic ones).

Description: Here's an old emblem off of a truck or tractor (the guy wasn't clear on which) that I was asked to reproduce in 6061. The pitting was pretty severe, making me do a lot of touchup on the scans before creating the toolpaths.

Description: Air filter housing hold down nuts- Fratzog emblem design was used by Dodge from `66 to `82, so I found it fitting to use the design for these since the housing is for a `72 Dodge Colt. The O-ring seals the filter housing as well as providing some tension to prevent unscrewing.
