:kilroy: Just finished building this...

Just finished building this... A ball turning jig... was on my list for about 5 years and Saturday I finally made it happen... I looked at a few designs and put a little bit of my own spin on it... I will be able to turn up to a 2.5" ball I believe... There are a few things I am going to update on it that I am not quite happy with but at least its another project off the check list...

I'm a hack... So I'm pretty sure anyone can make one with reasonable skills...

It sure beats having to buy one...

That's what I'm planning on doing here soon... I have the 60mm prints... I just need the dimensions for the 81mm...

I made one to turn musty nugget bolt handles several years ago. You'll use it more than you think. Like projectiles

Oh yeah I'm sure of that as well... I repaired the lathe so I can remove the compound easier to put the attachement on easier as well as to remove it...

Default Just finished...

Just finished up a bunch of 4" Softball Cannon/Mortar tubes for the folks that ordered them... The ball jig surely comes in handy... Not a big fan of the bead of weld but the guys that bought these can dress them how they want... I have one I'm building for a buddy of mine that I'm going to dress the weld down completely...

There is nothing quite like scratching that mental itch.
