Default Been out for awhile because of this...

I was knocked out of the game recovering from this:

Missed a week of work laid up in bed. Still I didn't end up in the
hospital like ten others on the foggy highway 198 wreck near Lemoore, CA.
I was one of the lucky few if you can call my suv getting hit from behind
and totaled by a big truck and knocking me unconscious "lucky". I
survived with minor injuries so that's lucky.

The truly hilarious thing is that it was a hit and run from a turnoff TO THE HY 198
and if there hadn't already been multiple crashes on the highway prior to me
getting there I would have been hit multiple times because my aspen ended up
left front tire smashed first into the center concrete median where the big truck
catapulted me. Even funnier the CHP put me at fault refusing to take my
testimony that I was stopped waiting (because I was) reasoning that the impact point
in the back would have spun me instead of sending in a straight line like I remember.
Unfortunately for the Chips cop I have a physics degree and he is wrong. They didn't cite
me and I told them to cite me so that I got my day in court. So far crickets. The cop won't be happy
if we go to court which we will if he doesn't change his report to reflect the truth. Oh, and in his
report he said my left tire was okay and my right tire flat. Funny.

That fog out there can get so thick you can't even see the road lines, and there is always someone tailgating with there blinding head lights.

the old truck was--the hard way.

Glad you made it out safe & sound .. Fog can be a killer, I had to drive the Grape Vine in the fog years ago, very nerve wracking
