Nope not mine just passing on the info of who built it. I have no idea how many built or even if they are for sale but if you contact Len money always has a way of convincing people to make more.

I believe the it shoots pistol rounds. Possibly something along the lines of .357 (they fit on the belt)

Will it actually work? has anybody else noticed that it is not complete, No trigger and what looks like no pins in the TMH for internals. Also how has the recoil buffer spring and rod issue been solved? It would normally protrude into the butt on cocking and firing. I am looking at cutting one of mine down into a shorty, the piston and front end is easy but the recoil rod and springs?

Historic Arms has a history of making some pretty radical weapon systems- for example he made a gatling style gun that used 3 or 4 suomi drum mags. It was a beast. Supposably his RPD pistol uses a pistol type round. So a blowback , hammer fired style type design would work. If look at the picture the receiver is not the typical RPD receiver(the charging handle for example) But yes would love to yes in a video of it actually working because it does appear that it is not finished.

there were modified RPDs without buttstocks used in Vietnam. ive heard that they somehow relocated the recoil spring to around the gas piston. not sure what all needed modified to get it to work, but ill take mine apart soon and see

Recoil spring around the gas piston, that would make sense. Although shortening the whole gas system would not give much room before it binds up. I'm getting the vernier and tape measure out on Monday. I feel a project coming on.

The next thing will be to decide which one to chop. I have 3, 2 Russian and 1 North Korean.
