Default Greetings from Ohio

I am starting an RPD build and passing by and reading some good info in the forums.
Toolmaker by trade and love a new project when I can fit it in!

I have a nice Polish parts set with original barrel.
Waiting for my DSARMS receiver.

Picked up a five pack of drums from OOW, a drop case, etc.
I really want to try to incorporate a hammer fired system over the striker set up if possible.

Hello and welcome from another Ohioan. If you know of any open MG shoots in Ohio let me know. I'd like to participate. Thanks.

also, a hammer fired setup may be possible. but it will take a bit of engineering. Id love to help out. youd have to do dual recoil spring to have an opening for the hammer, or have a slot in the bolt carrier for the hammer to swing into, which would be a huge redesign.

If I had a spare parts kit I would probably try the same thing. Once you got the bolt figured out, it'd be easy to mate it up to an AR FCG.
