Heres a few pics of the New 2012 BFS Buffered Mount that's coming out. This one is just a prototype the production ones are being made right now. The recoil assemblies are smoother, have more adjustments for fine tuning, better spring rate for recoil, 304 stainless recoil rods, lubricated recoil bearings and a few other upgrades built-into this mount. :bandit:

I will have a price on these shortly but I can tell you a few customers who just ordered the current 2011 Buffered Mounts got a free upgrade into this one since they ordered so close to this newer one. These definitely take a little more time to build.:coffee:

Nice... Only thing I'd need is a remote trigger like on the MG3 tripod set up...:coffee:

I've got another M2 Tripod Adapter that's coming out for 2012 I might be able to get some pics of it by this sunday. Been trying to catchup on my backlog but I never really ever seem to have time to develop new goodies anymore.:abused1:

The final prototype (there was 3 prototypes built) and first production buffered mount has finally been finished and have a few others that are in production right now as a few customers have been patiently waiting for there new buffered mounts to arrive.:sad1: I should have some pics of the new mount later today.

It took 3 different prototypes and a bunch of different spring lengths and spring rates to finally come up with something that works awesome with a 30+lb gun on top of it. There are so many variables in making something that works smooth with weight of these guns, if something is just a little off this thing will start to bind and you will run into all sorts of problems. The final design uses 6 springs vs 4 springs on the last one adjusted carefully so the recoil works perfect on this. Finding the right spring rate and length took some time but this last version is the cats ass for a 1919 mount.

Will have some pics of the new buffered mount today.
Stay tuned...:popcornwk:

very very nice! what makes sense to me now is that the weight of everything is working for you and not against you such as the case of a non buffered mount. now the weight helps hold the platform steady while the gun can flail around. mark
