Restoring PT Boat 658. Awesome story on how this one is brought back to life. Those old timers have given us a lot and its great to see this boat being passed on to the younger generation. :saluteflag:

Awesome! I've always loved the PT boats. I did a report on JFK and PT 109 back in junior high. Those little boats were so under estimated at the very beginning of their deployment.

OK... what's the difference between a PT boat and T boat? The country of origin perhaps?

That's a beautiful pic of it.:beer:
On the Torpedo boat yea its a different country of origin (Sweden). Heres a little info on it. Built in 1957 and is 77ft long, 45 tons.

From the vid:
This was our first visit in "Gota Canal" Sweden and probably the last one. In this scene we are passing through a narrow passage. As you can see there isn't much free space. This is usually a very calm canal and the flooding water you see is created by too big engines and props. Something to remember though! It was a bit scary as we got closer to the canal floor thanks due the props are spinning 800rpm idle.
