Rich is fabricating two table top mounts for me. One is for a 1919 and the other is for a Maxim. I am looking forward to lightning my load when I go to the range and these will fill the bill. I beleive there will be a few initial pictures soon.

I should have some pics of the prototype for you by monday just need to finish adding the rear feet and it will be ready for you to check out.:army:
A few things this Table Top 1919 Mount does: (Well at least I hope):bucktooth:
* Low profile design - Lower profile than an M2 Tripod
* Compact design - 13x17 inches (Very small footprint)
* Collects your Spent brass and links (Has a built in tray that holds over 300+ pieces of spent brass and links)
* Used any USGI M2 T&E mechanism (Or can shoot without T&E using an A6 stock if you like)
* Has a built in belt assist guide (To keep your belts feeding properly)
* Has a built in pintle assembly in the mount.
* Has full adjustable feet (Has 4 feet and you can raise or lower the mount up to 4 inches)
* Uses heavy rubber isolated feet for shooting on concrete or wooden benches
* Very heavy solid design so it should be more stable while shooting your 1919
This little mount is like nothing you have ever seen before its definitely something that you can use for shooting your 1919 off of a table top where as an M2 tripod might be too big. Should work good for this purpose.
Pics will be posted shortly so hang tight..:coffee:

A few pics of the mount weighs about 30lbs. This thing sits low where the belt starts to feed through (shown in the pic) a .30 cal ammo can will still sit higher than that.

Heres the old fashioned way, pretty dangerous if the tripods leg slides off the table. Not no more!

definately inventive, i dig it.
the last time i took my shorty to BASF i got "spoken to" because i had to sit behind the table to keep positive control over the gun because the bipod legs were slipping around on the concrete bench and i was afraid of it slipping off the front - this would definately solve that.

This is solid with the innovative construcion by Rich and its' 30lb weight.

Yea with this being so low profile and having a weight of around 30lbs just the mount itself doesnt not move on concrete you really have to drag it pretty good. On top of that add another 30lbs+ pounds with your gun on there and the mount feels like its glued to the table. I hope Marc can lift this mount its heavy feels like picking up a BBQ grill.:cool:

Marc,
Did you receive one of your table top mounts yet? Hopefully its not too heavy for your back or I will have to make you one out of titanium...:coffee:

It should be here today(Tuesday). Even though it's heavy, it should be easy to handle because it is so compact. My ups guy hates me.

back in the day when i had my own biz and a UPS account, my UPS guy hated me too lol. He got even with me one time when a box of ammo "spilled out" on the wharehouse floor and i was light a couple hundred linked rounds upon delivery :dissapprove:
Toss the guy a six pack if you get alot of heavy deliveries in a short time, might help relations out a bit :smartass:
looking forward to a range report
