**BFS is now offering Custom RPD/M249 Nutsack Adapters**

These little adapters will allow you to run any of M249 100' or 200' round soft packs on your RPD. This is great alternative to the 100 round chinese steel drums (no more rattle rattle rattle) and will give you more clearance under your RPD.

* This is for the Adapter ONLY (100 Round Nutsack Not included)

* This RPD Adapter slides right into your soft pack and locks into place (No modifications necessary to your soft pack)

* Very easy to install

Hi Everyone,

I just received my RPD/M249 adapter from Rich. It is absolutely perfect!

The fit is just right. It is designed pefectly so as to only lower the ammo bag the thickness of the sheet metal (essentially nothing). I read elsewhere that some are permanently converting the M249 sacks in order to avoid the bulk of an adapter. There is no bulk.
You can leave it permantly on the gun (that's what I'll do) and slide on the ammo sacks/boxes from the left like God intended, not from the rear like some abberant dysfunctional maladaptive communist. I doubt that I will ever use the stock can (haven't fired my gun yet).

The remaining challenge: Who sells RPD belts without the can?

I'm looking forward to 'live trials' soon. :big:

Your 6 adapters will be out to you this week. I have the whole shop down right now for electrical work and cleaning everything out its a mess right now. Will be back up running this week after the 4th of July Weekend. Sorry I didn't answer your e-mails right away been busy trying to get stuff done so I can get adapters out this coming week.

On the Nutsacks I have seen plenty of them on Gunbroker and E-bay you might want to head on over there and snag some. Prices vary from $10-$30 each which isn't too bad for them and most of them are NIW.:army:
