If these are like the new-made ones they had about a year ago, then the quality is very nice. I have a GI M2 and when you set them up against each other it's real hard to tell the difference. The welding is good, the traverse bar has gradations on it, the legs stay locked open and the pintle sits nicely snug. I'm not sure what else to look for in a tripod, but I couldn't be happier with it.

I'm loaning mine to my brother for big sandy, so if you want to see what they look like come on over to our slot. We're assigned 79-81. Or just look for the pirate flag and Mary Lou. :-)

ill add to that big sandy thought, ill have my ironcreations made m2 replica sitting in my spot if anyone wants to compare it to the IMA version.

also will have the MG3 adapter and multi cal short can A6 adapter if anyone wants a closer look at those as well.

oh yeah, ill be in spot 94, look for a shaved head and a shirt with a big BFS cross on the back
