Ok,
Now that you just purchased your AA Stabilizer kit and Stake kit its time to take you through a few easy steps to show you how its done.Like the saying goes "A picture is worth a 1000 words" well your going to see some pictures...
Why the AA Stabilizer?
Well one of the reasons why I created the AA Stabilizer kit was because if you dont already own one then you probably dont know how the legs like to unlock while you are shooting your 1919.This can turn into one BIG headache and make shooting your 1919 very unforgiving and even dangerous. The idea of this simple kit is to keep your AA's legs in the locked position at all times.Once these legs are locked then tripod becomes more stable. If you can keep your legs "Stable" then you can stake them.Staking them will make your tripod even more solid like its bolted to the ground. This is a must if you want a super stable shooting platform.
AA Stabilizer Installation:
The first thing you want to do is set your AA Tripod to the height your comfortable with.Next you also want to adjust the legs outward to get a nice firm stance as shown in the pic below.

Next you want to go ahead and install the leg clamps onto the tripod.A good starting point is at around 11.00' inches from the top of the leg to the clamp. This measurement will change depending on how your tripods legs are adjusted (aka the spread).

Next can install the adjusting bars onto your clamps like this.

Next go ahead and install the center star using the supplied clevis pins.

And the last one is in...

Now your ready to tighten the adjusting bars. The key to make this work correctly is to adjust the bars so they "Pull" the legs inward. This will keep them in the locked position. To tighten the bars you can use a small adjustable wrench or even your hand.

*Hint* When tightening the adjusting bars you can rock the tripod back a little so you can see how much to tighten. You dont want to over tighten just snug it up a little and it will be good to go.

Once all three legs are tightend down you will notice how much more stable your AA Tripod is.No more legs falling out from under you while your shooting!

When not using simply pull the pins off the adjusting bars and leave the leg clamps on in the stowed position.
