We are preparing photos for the Force Protection Equipment Shoiw, hosted by the DOD.

I thought it might be interesting to post a few showing the Acme Ring Turret in three configurations.

Nice work, Ryland,.. keep it up!!

The only real weakness I see is in the exposed wiring,. and that could be protected with some tubing or armored cable, it would also make the appearance look cleaner.

ala in all.. It's a fine piece of work you have there

jeez, thats insane.

so its all controllable from inside the cab eh? cool stuff. looking at the pic it seems the traverse is chain controlled, and the elevation is hydraulic, or am i seeing that wrong?

Your seeing it right. You could sit in the back of 1919a4's new toyhauler and take out those pesky 200mph plane at the Big Sandy with out leaving the trailer - What a HOOT ! :hillbilly:

He gave our CEO a quick demonstration of the mount while he was there,

The turret works flawlessly & has a wide range of motion

Ryland's design uses mitlitay grade relays rather than solid state electronics less chance of problems if there is ever an EM pulse.

Here you can see some of the workings and Ryland with his hand oh the joystick,

It uses a flat screen military grade monitor to relay information to the operator.

Everything Ryland makes is top notch we have had great service and great equipment made by him.
