I have many things on my "wish" list, among them would be several kits for spare parts and additional builds. Like many though, Cha ching limits the shopping spree. Does anyone have a fairly clear picture of the timeline of available 1919 kits? I see the end in sight for the M2/M3's. Hoped one of our suppliers might give us an update.

Swedish,
I dont think were end of the kits yets.I've been hearing "Were almost out" for the last 3 years so its anyones guess. If we really are I know some manufactures are arleady playing with the idea of building the hard parts.I think it was AA that was saying he was going to make M2 trunnions and other M2 hard to find parts. If its true then hopefully the prices will come down a little. This stuff is getting REALLY expensive, especially if someone wants to get a MaDeuce. :coffee:

Ohio Ordnance is now out of any grade b 1919a4 kits. These were the kits to get for most of us. They have Grade A left for $100 more but I don't now the numbers left.

Any thoughts on the quality of Cole Distributing's remaining kits versus the remaining Ohio Ordnance ones?

I have read good things about Coles kits, I have never ordered any, but never heard anything bad about them. Allied is making the top and bottom plates, and the trunnion for the M2, KMP makes the rt, and left sideplates. I know of others making both plates for the 1919, even if kits do dry up, there is still a market for the parts. There are plenty of internals available. it may end up costing a little more, but you will have mostly new parts

I bought two of Coles best kits and they were some really nice guns, I haven't yet bought any of their 395.00 kits, but if they are anything like their 425.00 kits they are well worth the money.

kit always go up and down in price....mostly up... You will always be able to get what you want....how much do you want to spend......thats the question....when a kit was $300 it was to much... now you have $300 but the kit is $425... such is life...not a great answer...I know..:big:

They recently had a group buy on kits on TOS not that long ago.,,maybe a month or two at most..They were able to get something like 500 of them, but I think they only went for about 100...I guess there are still some its around.
