Vendor warning.

Last Saturday I purchased a MG34 receiver section from seller 'reichsdepot' on gunbroker. She promised to ship it Monday morning. This was the EXACT sections IMA is selling (for 35 dollars less, mind you) but I decided to support the 'little guy'. I should have known something was up when I saw her site was using images and verbage directly from the IMA site.
Long story short, I emailed her every day with a shipping update, every day she had an excuse. I finally asked her if she couldnt ship it today, then I wanted to cancel my order any purchase from IMA. I told her Im working on a deadline (borrowed tools) and I needed it right away. No response....As of this morning, no shipping confirm.
I called IMA and ordered the sections. I emailed 'reichsdepot' and asked her to cancel my order.
She responded (NOW I get a response) 'your item shipped today, please dont purchase anything from us again.'
I dont know what crawled up her butt, shes 5 days late on shipping an item and she throws me an attitude. Avoid this seller.

I like that idea. Sturm does it, so does Subguns. But nobody does it for GUNBROKER. :blackeye: I have only had one successful buy on GB. Did a bunch of research on the guy, found out he was good a gold and sent him (I was still concerned - His internet name was BORE !). got my parts and was happy.

The real issue with GB is that if you start something like this, they would probably sue you.

I don't see how they could sue and win as long as you kept to the facts. Stay away from feelings and thoughts and simply go with fact. This avoids the entire slander issue. Facts that can be proven are even better. Copies of money orders, emails between buyers and sellers, etc. Just my thoughts on it

a section commited to raw deals around the net could be nice. dont buy from X place because they ripped me off etc etc, from anything from gun sales to bad mechanics. or maybe not, im tired and the beer is thinking out loud.

This is an egregious error in protocol and etiquette, what you should have done is called her a "skanky, father fucking, sperm burping, seamen receptacle, that eats her grandmothers diseased pussy" instead of the repeating of the previous slur - Its just proper usage of your English.

Just to bring this thing full circle, the vendor (reichsdeopt) screwed me AGAIN and shipped to my home of record and not where I VERY SPECIFICLY asked her to ship (on 2 different occasions.)
So, she lied to me 3 times about the ship times.
Was over a week late shipping.
Gave me attitude and told me to never order from her again.
Shipped to an address that I asked her NOT to ship to......

Anybody live in PA and willing to go egg this womans house? (Id say worse but in this day and age, who knows what they would drag a gun owner off to jail over.....)
