M8 Tripod Adapter Installation Pics

Welcome to the M8 Tripod Adapter installation page.Here you will see the how to install your new M8 Tripod Adapter followed with a few range pics on how to use it.

Heres the simple installation for you guys.


First up you want to get your M2 Tripod ready to.Install your pintle and T&E at this time

Next you want to go ahead and slide your M8 Tripod adapter into your tripod pintle

Next go ahead and slide the bolt through and screw on the nut

Next slide your T&E pin through the adapter mounting lugs

Now the M8 Adapter is secured to your M3 Tripod.Your now ready to install your 1919 :banana:

Next thing you want to do is to go ahead and insert your 1919 into the M8's pintle shown here

Then go ahead and install the supplied bolt.Dont tighten yet until the rear clevis pin is all the way in.This will let the rear pin slide through easier.

Sliding the rear pin through.Once this is accoplished go ahead and tighten down the front bolt

Once your 1919 is secured to the M8 Adapter you are now ready to install your ammo cans

Go ahead and pull the adapter ammo can pins out

Next you want to "Tilt" your ammo can while your re-installing the adapter pin back through your ammo can.This will allow the pin to slide through easier

Sliding the ammo can pin back through (Note) If you like to shoot with cloth belts you can leave this side off if you wish so your cloth belts can run down to the ground
