Well if you do I'll page format it for you guys... Are you talking like a USGI style one? Lobo said a while back you could take a some sort of wire brush and I'm not sure if it was used in an air hammer or another tool but a couple of zips and it was done..

i think lobo was using a needle scraper thing from harbor freight, its like 50 bucks or so.
i just use a 1inch wood spade on my cordless drill, scrapes that crap right out, as well as the parkerizing :dead:

Exactly thanks for remembering that... I totally forgot... When your running semi auto I don't think its much of an issue...Mine never got really that dirty...
So Oprod are you talking Repro or or something thats just practical......

i had my gun seize up once because of all the crap in the booster. The carbon in the booster froze up to the carbon on the end of the barrel - was screwed until i got home and was able to pound it free and clean the crap out. i think what happened was the booster unscrewed a bit during the day and when i tightened it back down and started shooting more there was carbon further back in the booster than normally would be - el seize-o.
needle scraper from HF 49.99

Just drop it in a gallon of Berryman B9 carb cleaner!
I have done hundreds of carbs and if this stuff wont eat the carbon out then you gots problems.
Its a nice acid based cleaner that will burn your hands black:big: (but after about 15 years of rebuilding carbs it got to where I could taste that shit when I put my hands in it so I had to quit) But really great stuff!!

Now that's probably a good question, the answer is I never really though about it. I guess I would do a test dip on something else first.
I know I never used gloved dunking into the bucket (I used to buy it in the five gallon buckets) because it would eat the rubber gloves....... (beside skin usually grows back and is free).

id like to make a few made uup likd the bmg style as they would go well in the tansit box and micl tools ive accumulated. I think just to make them out of o1 steel and harden the cutters should do it.

Well I was wondering if they already made a cutter that size... There has got to be something in the automotive field that should work...
