Went To Brunos today and finally got some of the powder I have been in Need of, and picked up a couple k of WOLF small rifle Magnum Primers (thats all they had). Has anybody done any reloading with these Primers ? :banghead:

Guys on the Jouster board have said they've reloaded with them and have no complaints.

The competitive pistol community out here didn't have much luck with them but that was about a year ago now so somethings may have changed... They had some primers that didn't seat properly... Could have been the brass they were using...
Hey you'll know if there are any problems when you start running it though a 650 or a 1050....:big: Dillon now recommends only Winchester... They dropped CCI because of quality issues...

Dillon can recommend anything he wants, but if there are only WOLF primers around, I can't help it. By any chance other than seating problems (which can be caused by improperly adjusted primer system), have you heard of any other known problems (such as miss fires - that would be a problem) ?

Nope I haven't heard anything about misfires or inconsistancies... Just the primer depth issue on my guys that shoot revolver...Most of my guys know there shit they've reloaded countless rounds so when they say they have a problem like that I listen...
Yeah I know what your saying... in reference to dillon you gotta use what you can get...

They only thing that I have heard and ( If I get my powder in) is that the primers are very tight (actually thats good news - especially if you swagged it a bit too much). As soon as I get my powder in I'll let everybody know how well they work. :approve:

I just wanted to say that the WOLF .223 primers worked like a charm. Even though they are Magumns, both the M16 and the AC556 ate them up.
Just for reference, I was using 25.2grn of WC844T with a 54grn Tracer projectile. This cycled the guns with no problems, had no brass issues (The brass was once fired). So it looks like a pretty good load.
Please donot assume that I know what I'm doing. Just using them in my own weapons.

Good luck finding them, and if you do find them you will have to make your own guncotton (good luck getting the nitric acid there too) to load them:freak: Shit there aint nothing out there now and if you do find them the prices are legal extortion:angry:
Hell I mean Weidners has some M25 tracers back in stock, 180 bucks for 1200 bullets for fucks sake!
Shit not six months ago I was buying them for 60 bucks for 1200 bullets at the same place.

Well Dan Its starting to Piss Me off too. I'm getting so tired of the Idiots that are horading both ammo and reloading supplies. I mean that in the last week, I went thru 1k of small rifle primers ( Tracer for the MG shoots), and 2k of Large Rifle Mag primers (Again 30-06 Tracer for the MG SHoots), and since I can't find any F**k-in 9mm factory loads, I'm going to have to reload something (thank god that I found 3k of small pistol primers a month ago).
Gettin Pissed ! :headbang:
