Other than the obvious anti-aircraft sights that you can buy for the 1919a4, are there any other sight options available.

Oh, and I don't want to mount a scope rail on it and have either a scope or Eotech as I've seen in some pictures floating about the internet. I'd like to keep it somewhat traditional. I was just wondering if there were any sights with white dots or something easier to see. On this note, have any of you ever used a dab of white or other color nail polish? I just don't know what I should do if anything to pick up the front sight a bit better. I know there is actual sight paint available, but I've heard some low reviews of the paint. Thanks for the input.

Not sure how to take your question(?) If you're asking whether there other AA sights that don't cost you your left nut - then yeah. I picked up a post front with a folding spider-web rear from IMA than I like and think is worth-while.

I prefer an orange paint pen, and just paint the back side of sight blades, use it on my Garands and K98k's (not on the 1919 yet thought); you find that when your eyes start to really suck you need the extra contrast. Especially on that damn K98 front sight blade:dead:

I may try a yellow paint pen for the front and a red one for the rear sight when it's in the down position.
