Hoping someone can help me understand this. I'm seeing a lot of adds for C&R class 3 weapons (50 years old+), but I can't get the lowdown on whats required for it. I know that obtaining the C&R license is $5 for title one gun transfer to your door on eligible weapons, for personal collecting use and not resale, but how do the C&R autos and SBR guns fit into it all? Surely they are not allowing transfer to a C&R holder without all the form 4 shit, right? If so, I'm applying for the C&R license in the am!
I'm thinking the red tape is still required on all class 3 weapons, regardless, but if so, why even consider a class 3 a C&R, it would be pointless. Help us out here, somebody that knows!

Don't know about the full auto purchasing with a C&R license but you definitely need to get you a C&R license! This is very handy for buying old guns, usually 50 years or older. If you like older guns, you should get one........$30.00 for three years is chump change compared to all the transfer fees you'd pay a dealer to recieve the guns for you.........

A C&R can allow all the other NFA due to it says Guns that fire in a different or odd way, have high monetary value and so on, theres more to it then just bein 50 yrs old. I have a C&R FFL and i own a C&R GM 1919 but i also own other F/A that is by no means old. You still have to do the form 4, $200 transfer tax and all that but thats the cheap part, buyin the gun is the cheap part, its feedin the damn things thats expensive. HA Heres my C&R toy at OFASTS this last weekend. :50cal:

Actually its in 8mm, all i shoot out of it. Cheaper that way, i would order ammo by the truck loads, tractor trailor trucks that is, when ya did it that way the cost was 2.5-3 cents a rnd.
Yes you have to keep a bound book but how many $20,000 guns ya gonna buy? Ya just right down what ya bought, from who when and where. You can sell anytime ya want, just post it then take it to SOT and have him ship it to buyers SOT. Not a pain
I have videos, just not knowin how to post, i hate computers. I am gonna sell my 1919 :banghead:

Well since your gonna sell that sweet beast D8 given any thought on owning a Semi Browning as they require a bit less ammo...
The video's you and Dave did were great two bad they can't be all spliced together for one clip... I think I've seen three of them there on Youtube right...
