Wait,
Did I hear you correctly?
Shooting a 1919 in your backyard? Oh man wish I had the space to do that. What do your neighbors think?
Anyways thats a pretty cool vid and the little boy really gets it going once he starts to see how fun it is.Give him a longer belt next time. :headbang:

yeah it was my back yard, and no its not that much of a yard...... ive only got a 1.5 acre lot. but my backyard is straight into a hillside and we shoot into that at about 60 yds away.
my neighbors are decent, usually tell them before i turn loose with any thing. invite them over to shoot, which they usually decline.
they do appreciate my call though before i start with the 50 cal's.... it rattles the windows in their house! and ive got a church 2 doors down the other way so they did ask me not to shoot while they were in session... thats reasonable unless they are in revival, then i do it anyway.
if his daddy wants to chip in for some ammo he can shooot it all he wants.

on my 1919 ive got a ohio black sheep under mount style crank(pretty affordable).... very very solid and dependable. and its plenty fast enough, you could over run the gun with it if you wanted.
ive heard lots of talk about 6 lobe verses 4 lobe, and its just that: talk
i can shoot just as fast, right up to the limit of the gun with the 4, same as a 6.
now does a six lobe with built in spades look better? yes (but im switching to spades anyway)
i do have a 6 lobe emory jones crank coming for that M3, so we'll see how it goes on that one
im very happy with my little 1919, still need to paint the pod and adapters to match, but other than that you couldnt ask for anything more out of it.
get on the AZ wgon train and get that crank!!
oh and BTW pirate is making a brand new 6 lobe DIY kit as we speak should be available by april 17th... will fill you in on that one.

Looks good! I sure wish that I lived on my land (where I get to shoot).. I'm actually thinking of selling and getting something larger and more remote and OUT of CA.

Hey Duti,
If you live in a Class 3 state you might want to inquire on a custom built suppressor for it.Then you would be able to shoot back there all of the time. :headbang:

Cool Vid... Sometimes when you upload to PhotoPhucket it takes a second time for some reason the sound does get out of sink during the upload process... :bounce:
