That is a nice haul. Don't know what your whatzit is but it is cool, looks kinda like some kind of mag loader. Now that I said that it will probably turn out to be some kind of carrot peeler. Love your brown holster!

Does the headstamp say WD on the .45's?

Besides the belts that items are a representation of the stash lol its more. As for the 45 I did not open it since these are original ammo sealed from that time period. and not sure that if i open the boxes it will ruin some value... But i am dieing to open them... I was wondering into getting a grease gun kit since I have alot of mags now ... lol Got alot of .223 and 3006 ammo with the stuff as well. Some 303 maybe about 50 rounds. I am just dieing to find out what the mag or clip loader goes to...

Looks somewhat along the line of a Bren or ZB mag loader. It's not exact but I would guess something close to it.

Grease gun kits are getting hard to find... I noticed the grease gun mag there...

Would be nice if some one would make the stamping of the receiver so some grease guns could be cobbled up... There's bolts here and there and some of the other little parts but that stamping is what holds most people up...

Mag clip looks like it's from a Garand.

*duh* not the big metal thingy.. I should fully read the post before replying..

The 45's should be head stamped EC for Eau Claire (or something like that) unless that was strictly the repack plant as it is labeled as being repacked in 44.

Looks like a pretty nice haul :)

Frank,
Good for you that you inherited these fine artifacts!
However, you should be wary of the carbon footprint you are leaving behind you.A simple way to alleviate that problem is to ship four of those belts to me.I live on the west coast, and this should help to dilute potential problems that may arise from accumulated fun stuff.:lols::beer::beer:

I tend to agree that the "What is it?" is probably a loader for ZB mags or something along that same line. If you're interested in selling or trading it I would be interested in it to go with my ZB kit.

The belts are from 1942 so they are WWII era stuff that have never been used... I have like 6 grease gun mags which now looking for a parts kit lol to make them go with the mags... So the loader goes to a ZB? hmmm just asking but whats it worth.. I am not interested in letting it go just yet but depending in the future when i get my garand I may trade for clips or misc items..

mabey that loader is for an mg13. its way to big for the zb stuff. i have 3 original loaders for the zb, all are a little different but none look like that!
