Anyone ever tried the Chip McCormick match triggers? If so are they easy to install, or should I drop it by a gunsmith if I decide to get one? Here is a link to the triggers.

Also if so what did you think of them/it?

Are you thinking about it for the AR, or the Rem 700?

For the AR. Eventually I will have a bit of work performed on the Rem, but the only thing that will really be replaced is the stock. I'll have the bolt handle remachined to have a round ball instead of that funky oblong thing they call a handle nowadays. I'll have a few other things done to it, some of them aesthetic. I'd just like to get a few things done to the AR. I like it as it is, but it has always been my intention before I picked it up, to customize it and make it truly mine, instead of just another AR. I still have not decided whether or not to get a collapsable stock with and adjustable cheekpeace.

I haven't delt with those yet for the AR but I have with the Timiny and the Jard the Timiny is as good as the Jard without all the adjustment and I covered installing a Jard in the AR section someplace... They can really be a pain in the ass if the screws back out... I'm using nail polish now instead of the loctite they send...

But if the Chip McCormick is a drop in unit it should be as good as the timminy... I prefer the adjustment of the two stage Jard though...
