I wanted some AA sights, but didn't want to spend quite so much. I found these at IMA USA->
(The rear sight)

(The front)

I actually like them a lot and think for the price - they're an outstanding deal. My only complaint is that the front comes poorly painted and needs to be parkerized to match the rear one..

I agree, for the price I like IMA's offerings.
Last time I looked I think there were two different styles of AA sights there.

True they are nice they look a little cheesy did you buy those Slick or do you just have them in mind...
The one benefit that I like about midwest was the fact that they folded now AA this minute regular sites the next... :green:

The IMA rear sight folds as well, go from blade sight to aircraft sights!

I actually bought them almost two years ago (when I still had a job). The rear sight is actually quite nice and has a detent-ball that "clicks" it into place and is finished nicely. In the "down position", it works perfectly with the original rear sight on the gun. Flipped up - it's perfect in using the front-mounted post.
The front sight just needs a "method to locate it properly" to re-zero the gun after removing and re-mounting it. You could just unscrew the post.. However, I'v decided that once I get it sighted back in - to drill a 1/8th hole through the clasp and shroud. That way I can use one of my broken 1/8th drill-bit shanks to locate the sight while I tighten the locking nut.
If you're looking at getting these and need me to post some pix - let me know.

Well... If one day you have the hankering to mount them up and shoot a picture that would be great... I've never seen the IMA Usa ones mounted up yet... I saw those Midwest industries and thought they'd look good on a side project I have going... I had no idea the Ima usa one folded down on the rear one...
