It has been revealed that Democrat Patrick Leahy has co-sponsored a bill in congress with the unanimous support of the Governors of ALL 50 STATES and key REPUBLICAN senators.
It seems that King for Life, George W. Bush, slipped us a little gift. When he reviewed and revised his Military Commissions Act, which already has HUGE Constitutional violations due to it's revoking of Habeas Corpus and its' giving the President SOLE AUTHORITY to declare anyone at any time an "enemy combatant", and thereby stripping that person of ALL Constitutional right, Georgie boy ALSO wrote himself a provision revoking the "posse Comitadas" or in English, the law which prevents the regular Military forces of the United States from ATTACKING ITS OWN CITIZENS. George W. Bush wrote himself a law which, yes kids, gives him the SOLE authority to declare you and me Terrorists, and have the full force of the regular Military authorized to conduct operations against US. INSIDE the continental U.S.
Leahy's bill would immediately remove these powers from the Military Commissions Act. The State Governors are unanimously supporting it because they are already well aware that 40% of thier National Guard manpower has been shipped to Iraq, and this provision would certainly mean the remaining States' guardsmen could be Federalized under premise of "national security" and called upon to engage in combat against any American citizens who "resist" this administrations' whims.
How'd you like to be on the wrong end of an AC-130 strike because you got on some list? On your own property? George wants to be able to do that...
