Just renewed mine. Picked up a rifle or two and a few C&R handguns while traveling in Nevada and Arizona. Thankfully, for my wallet, I had had most of the C&R's I wanted before getting the license.
Mostly, I like it for the Brownells and Midway discount.

i just made my own A/D book on an excel spreadsheet that looks like the example they give you in the CR papers and stuck em in a 1/2'' binder.
So far ive used the ffl for 5 or so purchases, it paid for itself the first time i used it since in CA i was paying 25 bucks for each background check.

I made a book, well it is a spiral bound page notebook. i use a straight edge across opposing pages and list it like the sample page they sent. then the next two pages and so on. I don't know if they now accept a three ring binder or not. I thought it said a bound book where pages couldn't be added, it may have changed. it just gives a little more room when I add the lines as I go, i write big, cause i cant see as good as I used to, probably cause i burnt my retinas out welding.

The site has log and record books for anything you can think of.
