Well I just got my AA tripod adapter from Rich and I must say the fit and finish is first class :hail: :hail: (man I wish I could weld half as good as that).

Now I just need to go find these local sandpits my neighbor told me about so we can go a shootin

Thanks Rich, she is sweet and I defiantly look forward to getting another one for my M2 tripod :headbang: :headbang:

Top pic is the gun mounted on the AA tripod (Generation II AA Adapter System)
Second pic is my M1917 tripod that Hard Rock Biloxi bought for me
Bottom pic is the full A6 kit I just got.

Very nice Dan!

Rich makes outstanding products for sure... Heck - even your 1917a1 pod puts mine to shame... Mine has NO belt or markings.

My A6 stuff looks new like yours does and (I'm thinking they all do?)

Good looking set up Dan,

I see you can dress your 1919 for any occasion

I've heard only good things about the AA set up,

and you have a good solid shooting platform with the 17A1 mount.

hope you find the sand pits and there are no hassles shooting there.

I haven't picked any park stuff up yet but it will be manganese so it they will end up being darker gray to black, I cool with that. I will pick some of the stuff up next month, that way I can just park all three guns at the same time.

Slick, It even has brass in a few places, the rotational scale you see in the pic and then the degree scales for the fine control knobs for elevation and yaw are brass as well. There may even be more but I need to pull it down for degreasing and cleaning and will put a nice polish on the brass then.

Herr Stull, I really like the buttstock on the AA pod, I want to get some of the AA sights from IMA and the stock makes it really nice to move and sight the gun. But of course the bipod don't do much for it mounted to the AA pod :coffee: The A6 kit I picked up from RGuns for 175, I will say it is pretty nice for the money (may have to pick a couple more up then, dammit) I got the flash hider from Iron Creations and that is stone cold cool looking :headbang: (I wanted to get three of them but the web site would only let me buy one, guess I need to look elsewhere for the other two).

Hey Dan, One of my "painter friends" had a spare gallon of solvent-type alcohol that was old - so he left it with me. That stuff works GREAT for cutting dirt & grease and even made the brass parts on my pod shine real nice.

I do think I got a bit lucky on my tripod selection and am super-happy with it. While it's not "make or break", I think I'll be able to find the proper strap & data plate. Lets face it - these are the "nice things" that give us pride in ownership and really don't "have" to be there for thing to work. But it sure warms the heart when the "package" looks right!

I'm going to be going back and reading up on what it takes to put the "white outline" into the markings on both my M2 and 1917a1 pods elevation marks. It's a cheap and fun project - and gives me the opportunity to get good at it - so I can do these "light" projects as favors to my friends who've been kind enough to help me along.

Thats some real nice hardware you got there... sorry for my web site error, I have to wear all the hats, so sometimes I forget to update my inventory list on my site. thats my I. T. hat, it must have slipped off that day or something.. That A6 stuff really looks cool. I always thought the flash hiders were a nice addition to the 1919's.

So do you still have some more of the flash hiders? If so I will probably pick up a couple more at the beginning of the month.
