1917 tripod

i purchased one of those cut up kits from sarco and brazed up socket fixed legs and machined all the parts that were sadfully destroyed and it came out rather well. I will have to posts some pics if i can figue out how . but what i need is measurement for brass tag and strap location on back leg . thanks :flame:

From the seam where its welded or brazed to the foot its about 3 1/2 in. up to the first hole of the brass tag...Lou

Blankman1919 what did that fixer upper kit cost ya and did you get that recently??? I've heard about these but haven't seen them openly advertised...
