Do you have an old chair base laying around you don't know what to do with?
I saw that I had a “chair base†on my metal scrap pile that looked like it could be useful…

I cut off the chair mount and noted that my “Ironcreations†pintle bushing fit perfectly.. So I went ahead with the build and painted it to match my M2A4 dual-can adaptor ->

This thing seems like it will work well when shooting at ranges that only have tables to fire from! My next step is to add some "feet" to help hold it in place..
This is about as easy as project come.. My write-up on the build (for those that want to make their own) is here, scroll to the bottom of the page->

there is no safe office furniture now....
hey put the wheels back on it and when you are crusing around in your electric chair take this in front of you and you are your own mobile machine gun nest!!!!
nice idea if you have a lazy day.

Looks cool Slick!
Definitley get some range shots of it and lets us know how stable it is when shoot from it.
Duti,
Funny that you say electric wheel chair as I am currently working on a wheel chair gun mount for a customer. Will be hosting a few pics of the build in the Skunk soon.

Im betting its pretty damn stable - put one of the legs facing directly in line behind it - and should be cool. Big plus having 4 legs :bounce: especially for you guys that have the long concrete table tops at the range.

I figure if it's not as stable as I want - I will cut down the neck to a point where I still get good elevation (with the M2A4 adaptor) and re-mount the pintle bushing. This is why I'm waiting to fire off of it BEFORE I weld the bushing in and install the pintle lock.
