Well I guess since the UN is trying to drive up the prices on Surplus it was cheaper to hang the chap with an american rope made my illegals in the U.S.A. .... Of course on the other hand that rope cost three times what it costs to make it because the U.S. government bought it... :banghead:

Well Von it is sad that they can't have a more humane execution of these people however if everything were like it was in the U.S. they'd have them living in prison for years like we do here... Or am I missing the point somewhere... :peep:

Yea that aint no rope looks more like a tie-down off the motorcycle trailer. :shock:
From the pic you can see the bottom of the trap doors.In the first pic the rope isnt even taunt yet and he's almost at the bottom.Probably a good 15ft drop plus you add in he was probably 180lbs or more which would definitley rip the head off.If it were me I would rather go by firing squad. :coffee:

I guess it all depends on what you believe about the Iraq war. or prefer to believe. In my studies of the problem, it is my belief that this Government and its' leaders have gotten thier balls hung in the wringer and have no clue what to do, so they're essentially faking it until someone comes up with Plan C. The inescapable fact is that the whole op is botched. The plan, as originally laid out in the mid-90's, was to seize upon a weakness in our classic opposition..the Red Chinese and Russians...to make a bold strategic move into the Persian-MidEast oil fields. This was to be a 3 nation conquest. Iraq first, 6 months tops, build up bases and troops there under a pacified population and puppet government, leapfrog into Iran, spend a year on that until we own it, then take out Syria. Once in that position, The US is once again the 800 lb gorilla of the planet, and now telling OPEC, the Russians, and Venezuela how much oil is going to cost from now on.
Well, the wrong talking head got put in charge, they went in on the cheap, what are they on now, thier 3rd or 4th round of commanding generals? And they didn't get past Bagdad. So now the Great Blitzkrieg has stalled dead in its tracks, they're stuck with a failed mission trying desperately to figure out what to do, because the poor arrogant bastards never ever plan for possible failure. Once Iraq came off the rails, it was too late to go back and say "Gee, General Zinni, I guess we really DID need 500,000 men and 5 armored divisions"....and you're faced now with a corporate investment built around a timetable which has collapsed, with a CEO (Bush) who has once again, run his company into the ground on a wild gambit.
So it's simply a matter of being ludicrous. Hang the whole damn population of Iraq, it won't change one thing. We went grizzly hunting with a .22 mag and a handfull of bullets because Dad wouldn't buy us the big ass gun and all the ammo we need, so now we're up a tree with the bear nipping our heels and Dad is miles away telling everyone what a great job we're doing. So I don't see the point in hanging Saddam and everyone else up to his Fkin dog. We didn't hang Pinochet, or Castro, or any number of vile despots with 10 times the blood on thier hands, and we kept certain Nazis alive in Spandau Prison until they died, other more usefull ones came here to work for us and still do. So the fact is..it's pointless. A ghoulish spectacle at best, with no purpose.

You know Von... I think if these people had there way there would not have even been a trial to begin with... I don't know who was in charge of that hanging but that was just wrong... We are not the ones hanging them thats for sure, I think if we were that would have not occured... These people have so much hatred for each other they will never get along stability in the middle east HA the only way that will happen is just nuke it... I don't care how many divisions or troops you have it will never happen you can't change the nature of the human being... We need to close the borders, and start building our fences and fallout shelters and start preparing for the worst...
