New Israeli hover tank, here is a photo of a hover tank during testing, (note the tether) it is believed that this will give their military an advantage of getting over all those tall concrete baracades they have erected to keep everyone out.One official was quoted as saying "with this technology our army can strike quickly and no barrier can stop them," Israels air force is still skeptical about this development but supports it's fellow armed services in the defense of the homeland. The Bush administration had no comment on how this may effect the current ongoing peace process, President Bush would make no comment on it during his stay in Israel. Iran & Syria on the other hand is demanding that the U.N stop Israel from any further development of this weapon as it is a clear attempt to escalate tensions in the middle east.

Looks like a standard Merkava 2 to me. Nice tanks. All ingress and egress is done from the rear. The reason being is so if the tank is disabled they can crawl out the back without getting shot. Smart idea in theory, and I'm sure in practice sometimes too. It's also so they can escape quickly without getting blowing up, but I see one flaw in the logic. If you are gonna stay out of sight not to get shot, how are you gonna get far enough away that schrapnel is not gonna get ya? Very nice and well rounded tank though.
