Ok dumb question but should you have a russian nagant revolver in your coolection I was thinking of getting one from Aim when I order my TT-33's i dont have ammo for them and really dont care to shoot it but just to say I have one I guess? Is it worth shooting them or is it more a waste of my money to even get one?? also i see that some of these revolvers say you can shoot 32 S&W and magnum loads is this true?

dunno, been thinking about one myself tho, to go with my nagant rifles. I seem to remember sportsmans guide selling some fiocci ammo for the nagant caliber.

i still want one of those pag63 or whatever there called, the bitone walther looking pistol in 9x18 - at 99 bucks it seem like a steal.

I don't know either; I have been eyeing them as well and thinking "what the heck, its only 70 bucks"!

But if you buy it, you really do need to buy the obligatory box or two of ammo for it.

For 32acp you have to buy the "special" cylinder for it, I think it was interord that was advertising the cylinders in the shotgun news.

Not to be a "wet blanket" - but I'd rather pump the money into picking up components to reload .308......

Or a Webley ,i saw one of those for only about $20.00 more.
Now the 455s are to high for what they are.
But the 455 had a good reputation for taking out those big ,Zulu ,NFL linebackers.

Nagant revolvers are a novelty in that with proper ammunition the cylinder and barrel form a gas seal as the cylinder moves forward and locks against the forcing cone of the barrel, they are supposed to be accurate, & this would be about the only revolver you could actually supress due to the gas seal feature.

I have owned a Wilkinson made Webley Pryse (1870's) 45 long colt and a Webly Mk II* with the birds head grip,Both were good shooters although the Pryse had a liking for punching holes in primers. shot Dominion and Fiocci out of the MkII* both were accurate, I had modified a couple of speed loaders to take .455, and had a couple for the pryse also. I would go for another Webley before I would bother with the Nagant.

Still both of them were weird ,any gun that has all of its guts on the outside is just strange.

I have one just to go with all the other russian stuff I have, It shoots well with the correct ammo and are still a good deal. I used to pass up good deals, but will come to an end then the price goes up, sort of like the $110.00 m1 carbines and the $40.00 enfields.
