Parkerizing

One of my buddies has a a CZ-82. We were thinking of parking it, does anyone have one of these? it is kinda fugly. not sure if it is painted or what, but it is shiny black. I guess if it wont park I could paint it again. it just feels funny, it almost feels like pot metal, I know its not, but I hate to bead blast it, then find out it wont take or something.. any Ideas??

My CZ-75 has the baked on enamel finish... Supposed to be real tough - but apparenly chips over time. I'd guess that it need to be chemically stripped with Jasco or a powerful solvent that will remove a finish that's the Chezk equivelent to powder-coat.

Ok, I will get with my powder coat guy, and see what he has to remove it.
