What kind of ammo are you using? ive never had a problem in a AK or SKS using russian wolf ammo and i always get the hollow points- becuase they seem to always be cheaper :coffee: Maybe the ammo your using just isnt "hot" enough. My buddies egyptian maadi loves the wolf stuff.

Dont wanna sound condescending, but have you tried cleaning up the gas system with some powder blast spray or something?

did you way they were WOLF hollow points?

if so and they wont shoot then its def a gun problem and not the ammo.

check your position when you load the clip and slowly slide the bolt forward, see if your coming out at the right angle to load into the chamber and let us know from there.

So is this a feed issue or a ejection issue... And by the jist of your conversation we assume you used FMJ's and they function flawlessly right...
Check the overall length of the HP vs. an FMJ see if the HP is longer sometimes they are... and that can throw off how something hits the feed ramp... Also... make sure your rounds aren't binding in the mag... and make sure you don't have one of those cheap assed Chic mags that are all stamped steel... I've had problems with a buddys mag not feeding properly because he have a few of the cheap assed mags...

A finicky AK... Well I never heard of such a thing... but hey I broke an AK yesterday... Thought you could drag these pieces of shit through the dirt mud and grime and there supposed to work... NOT....

So anythings possible...

try putting a small radius on the botttom of the bbl. a friend had a similar problem and that cured it
the hollow points are shorter with a different bullet shape and that causes a problem in some guns.
