:wow: Ok so I found a Used but like new CNC Bridgeport Boss 5... Only problem is that I am learning to use it and would love someone to help me out. Looking to trade time on the machine for knowledge. lol  I paid $2000.00 for it and it came with a phase converter computer system colets mills you name it and the onwers left over stock material. What should I do first besides giving it to a board member that will save me time and grief while learning to operate it..lol :bounce:

Time to start studying G-code, I suppose. :coffee:

I think this site may have a few good links on the basics for you.

Well I have a software that converts cad files which I can make into G code only thing i need to learn to do the the lifting of the quill so it goes over high points etc and be able to do rough passes and then go over the same area with a more precise pass of the bit.
