Kinfolks Trench Knife

I had a waking revelation a short time ago, I have this old GI fighting knife, I always thought was made by KnifeCo. And my eyes being what they are, thats how I read it, on the box and the blade. Well , A while ago I took my white highlighter and did the blade, and to my amazement it said "KinfolksInc"

I never heard of the company. I'd like to hear more about the Co.

A name like that sounds like some hillbillies trying to get revenge on someone,,,

I did a double take,.. put it under a lighted magnifiying glass and yep.. thats what it said... and the box too.. both are matching.

The knife is in new, unused, factory edge condition, the box still has the green craft wrapping in it too.,

the leather handle is in pristine condition.. never oiled or treated..

Here's the pics.

Wow, that is an amazing piece. I didn't know kinfolk made regular M3's, all of their wwII knives I've seen were like hunting knives pressed into service.

Bet what you have there is worth some serious $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

oh BTW, it looks great
